Symborg Academy

To be global leaders in the BioAgro sector through innovative solutions to meet farmers’ needs

OUR ACADEMY

In order to ensure high production and profitability, intensive agriculture has been characterized by the use of genetically improved and more productive varieties, as well as a high consumption of water, nutrients and pesticides.

This system leads to the loss of microbial biodiversity and richness of beneficial microorganisms, generating an imbalance in favor of opportunistic and oxidative microorganisms and thus accelerating the degradative processes of microbial activity and the chemical, physical and biological properties of agricultural soils.

The consequence of the above is a fall in productive potential and crop yield.

Therefore, the use of efficient microorganisms and the knowledge of how they interact with plants and between them within the intensive agricultural system should be considered as a useful and necessary strategy to help overcome the challenge of intensive agriculture.

For this, the knowledge of soil microbiology, both in its qualitative aspects (mechanisms and processes), and quantitative (critical concentrations and action in space-time) must be the current tactic of the modern agronomist.

In our academy you will have access to our Soil Microbiology course.
