BIOLOGICAL INOCULANT Resid MG
A biological inoculant specially developed for extensive crops that acts in symbiosis with the plant to increase its productive potential.
MAXIMUM EFFECTIVENESS
Resid® MG is a biological inoculant containing the unique mycorrhizae-forming fungus species Glomus iranicum var. tenuihypharum and has been specially developed for extensive crops with a concentrated microgranulated formulation of 1 mm grain diameter.Resid® MG acts in symbiosis with crops to achieve Smart Crops:
The direct benefits are:
- Increasing the exploratory volume of the root system for greater absorption and utilization of water and available nutrients, including those easily blocked in the soil such as phosphorus. Moreover, the long-lasting effect of the symbiosis continues even during periods without water or fertilization.
- Increasing tolerance to stress conditions such as drought, salinity and extreme temperatures.
- Increasing crop performance, such as yield and fruit weight, and grain quality, improving parameters such as specific weight, protein content, grains per ear or ear or ears per plant.

HOW IT WORKS
Resid® MG brings to your agrosystems a mutually beneficial relationship between plants and fungi that nature has tested and proven for millions of years: mycorrhizal symbiosis. It establishes a long-lasting symbiotic relationship in which the fungus exchanges water and nutrients with the plant in exchange for sugars derived from photosynthesis. Thanks to the unique characteristics of the mycorrhizal fungus Glomus iranicum var. tenuihypharum, this mutually beneficial relationship becomes so efficient that it results in an increase in the crop's root system and the activation of key metabolic processes such as photosynthesis itself. In addition, the mycorrhizal symbiosis allows crops to increase CO2 capture and make more efficient use of water (WUE) and nutrients (NUE). This symbiosis and its beneficial effects have a much longer lasting effect than other forms of biostimulation. Resid® MG is, in short, the biological inoculant that helps you meet the real challenge of agriculture: to be more efficient.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER STRAINS?
Produces up to 4 times more extramatrical mycelium than other fungi
Extramatrical mycelium is the set of exploratory hyphae of the fungus that absorb water and nutrients and transport them to the plant. 4 times more extramatrical mycelium means up to 4 times more capacity to explore the soil volume.Reproduces outside of the root and with very small spores
Common mycorrhizal fungi reproduce inside the root. This fungus sporulates outside the root and with very small spores, so it does not clog or break the absorbent hairs of the plant's roots, thus avoiding the consequent energy expenditure.Tolerance of salinity levels more than double the appropriate
Glomus iranicum var. tenuihypharum has a high resistance to saline conditions, being able to grow in soils with values up to 6 dS/m.
MODE OF APPLICATION
Resid® MG has a microgranulated formulation of 1 mm in diameter, it is easy to preserve and has a long shelf life.
WHAT IS THE APPLICATION RATE AND TIMING OF RESID® MG FOR DIFFERENT CROPS?
The efficacy of Resid® MG has been tested on a wide variety of crops such as cereals, corn, soybeans, rice, potatoes, forage crops, cotton or sunflower. Find out the application rate and timing for each crop.OUR PRODUCT LABELS AND ECO-CERTIFICATIONS
