HOW TO USE

Applied via irrigation or foliar application, Balius is an energy source always available and easy to use so that your crops perform at their best in the field.

When to apply Balius?

1.- At times of greatest vegetative activity or nutritional demand of the plant (transplanting, growing, flowering, fruit setting, tillering, fruiting or ripening).
2.- As preparation of the crop in order to face future adverse environmental conditions, such as high temperatures, frosts or water deficit.
3.- To recover the crop after an adverse situation that has already caused an stress.

IN WHICH CROPS TO APPLY BALIUS?

Horticultural crops:
Chard, garlic, artichoke, celery, aubergine, broccoli, zucchini, onion, calçot, mushroom, cabbage, cauliflower, endive, white asparagus, green asparagus, spinach, strawberry, pea, broad bean, fennel, green bean, lettuce, melon, potatoes , pickle, cucumber, parsley, pepper, pepper for paprika, leek, radish, romanesco, watermelon, tomato, tomato for industry and carrot.
Extensive herbaceous crops:
Winter cereals, spring cereals, rapeseed, corn, fodder corn, rice, sorghum, feed cereals, grasslands, grass, sunflower, soybeans, tobacco, cotton, alfalfa, grain legumes.
Woody crops:
Olive, vine, almond, hazelnut, walnut, other nuts, apricot, cherry, peach / nectarine, mango, avocado, other stone fruit, kiwi, apple, quince, pear, other pome fruit, lime, lemon, mandarin, orange, grapefruit, other citrus, blueberry, raspberry, banana, pineapple and papaya.

HOW TO APPLY

Foliar application: 100-300 cc/hl (1-3 l/ha). Apply four times every 15-20 days. It can be applied up to 400 cc / hl (4 l / ha) in case of frost.

  • For greenhouse crops, apply 75-200 cc/hl (0,75-2 L/ha).
  • For nursery, apply 20-30 cc/hl (0.2-0.3 L/ha).

Soil application: 3-4 l/ha. Apply four times every 15-20 days. It can be applied up to 15-20 l / ha in total.
  • For woody crops, apply 4-8 L/ha.
  • For nursery, apply 1-2 L/ha.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Do not use in foliar applications on plum.
  • In greenhouse, in mixtures with sulfur, use the lowest doses of Balius.
  • Do not mix with copper (except olive trees) or with highly acidic or highly alkaline products. Due to the great diversity of possible mixtures with crop protection products or oils, carry out a pre-mix test or consult our technical department.
  • For soil application, it is recommended to apply Balius preferably by drop-by-drop system.
  • No clogging problems for filters and nozzles.
